Samsung is taking over the mobile phone market now with the various phones. Samsung recently announced Omnia II-GT I8000 handset in India. Along with the Omnia handset Samsung also announced S5560 touchscreen for the European market. The new Samsung S5560's design is similar to the previous S5230 and S5600 models.
Samsung S5560 features a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display. Other features offered by the touchscreen phone includes 3G connectivity, EDGE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. The phone is also loaded with 5 megapixel camera, standard 3.5mm headset jack and a FM radio tuner. The phone also supports 16GB memory via a microSD memory card. Other major highlight of Samsung S5560 touchscreen phone is its battery backup - providing about 9.5 hours of talktime.
Sources indicate that the new touchscreen phone from Samsung, S5560 will enter the European markets by the end and is expected to be priced at €300.
