A&T HTC lancaster Specifications, Features and stills

AT&T announced the launch of their new android based smartphone HTC Lancaster. The main attraction of the phone is its Android firmware. HTC Lancaster is a sliding QWERTY phone which is designed similar to the G2 Magic and G1 Dream. The Android phone Lancaster is powered by the Qualcomm's ARM processor and chipset.

Other major features of HTC Lancaster includes 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, inbuilt GPS support and WiFi.The phone comes with a 2.8 inch touchscreen display with 240x320 resolution.
Dual-band WCDMA/HSDPA 3.5 and quad-band GSM networks will be supported by the HTC lancaster. The phone is equipped with a microSD card slot and provides support for H.263 and H.264 video playback .

As per the latest news, the HTC Lancaster will be available from AT&T by the mid of August 2009.
