Samsung recently announced its latest tablet device based on the Google Android platform - Samsung Galaxy Tab. Samsung planning to take on Apple's iPad, HP's Slate 500 Tablet, HTC Android tablet and Blackberry Playbook tablet. Anyway for the recent past 6 months Android tablets are booming the industry.
While coming to the specifications, Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet sports a 7-inch WSVGA touchscreen display with multi-touch support. It comes powered with 1GHz Hummingbird processor. Other features of the samsung galaxy tab includes a 3.2MP camera, 1.3MP front camera for video calling, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. It also comes equipped with a 4,000mAh battery. The samsung tablet runs on Google Android 2.2 OS.
As per the latest press releases, The samsung galaxy tab will be released in US by Verizon Wireless on November 11 2010.The all new Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet will be available for a price tag of $599.99 without contract in US market. Samsung has also announced the availability of the tablet for pre-order in India for a price tag of Rs. 38,000.
