The main feature of the new 3rd gen Apple iPod Shuffle is the Voiceover feature which gives the complete details of the song including track details, playslist options, battery warning etc. With the new Voiceover feature you will get all the warnings and Song details directly to your ears.
The new third generation Apple iPod shuffle weighs just 10.7 grams and this is slightly lower than the previous version. The 3rd gen apple iPod shuffle have no control buttons in it and all the controls comes on the headphones. Also another important thing is that the 3rd generation Apple iPod Shuffle has a better design than the previous model.
Apple earphones which comes packed with the iPod shuffle 3rd generation are not very durable as before. One disadvantage is that users are not able to use any other 3.5mm headsets or earphones because all the controls are coming on the original Apple earphones. Also the new Apple earphone that coming with the iPod Shuffle 3rd generation costs about the 2G iPod Shuffle(1 GB).
The third generation iPod Shuffle comes available in two different colours - Black and Silver with 4GB storage . The new iPod shuffle is also compatible with the iTunes 8.1.
