Fourth Generation Ipod is Ready

The new ipod combines larger screen than the third generation ipod Nano.It also combines with the design and vibrant colours of the second-generation models.The third generation 8GB model sells for $149 and the new 16GB model comes in at $199.

The fourth generation Ipod nano marks the evolution of an already strong media player.The new Ipod nano is almost identical in height and width to its second generation model.The third generation one is wider but shorter design taken from its predecessor.The ipod Nano has a slenderand tapered design.At its top level view it is 0.24 inch thick that is 0.6 inch thinner than the third generation models.The latest version models is available in brighter,more vivid colours.

When i saw the new apple ipod Nano, the first thing i noticed is that the flash based zune from microsoft.The Screen's portrait orientation means you must turn the nano on its side to play video;but since the nano now has a monitor sensor,the video orients itself properly depending on how you hold the Nano.For the video to works well,turn the unit on its side,though not as well as it does with the iphone or the ipod Touch because having the screen on one side and the navigation wheel on the other makes the ipod Nano seem out of balance.

The new iPod Nano is also about 0.5 ounce lighter than its previous versions.eneration.Since the Nano itself has a curved face, the glass that covers the screen is curved, too; during normal use I didn't notice any distortion caused by the curved glass cover.

One of the new and welcome feature is ability to record voices.The only need for the voice recording is a seperate microphone adapter or a pair of headphones with a microphone.This feature was missing from the third generation Nano.Like the previous ones Fm tuner is not available in this version also.

Another feature of new generation Ipod is the ability to translate shaking into a shuffled playlist just like Sony Ericcson Walkman shake phones(W910i).You can chang the playing song just by shaking the the Nano.The feature may be useful if you are out walking and want to switch to shuffle mode without changing the menus.Apple Put a great media player with the new Ipod Nano.If you are planing to buy a media player then you have to consider the new generation Ipod Nano before buying.
