One of the latest news about AMD is that they are planning to introduce new graphics cards with support for DirectX 11 by the second half of 2009. AMD didnt give any other details about this new graphic cards.Reports indicate that the new DirectX 11-capable graphics cards will feature the 40-nanometer technology, according to Heise Online.
Due to DirectX 10.1 and GDDR5 AMD currently has a technology advantage and according to Meyer AMD plans to lead the market with the X11 solutions coincident with Microsoft Windows 7 release in the back half of the year.
