Asus Lamborghini VX3 Reviews,Stills,Specifications.

For about two years we looked at the Asus Lambourghini VX2 and we were satisfied with it. More horsepower is equated with a faster processor, more RAM and a bigger hard drive, that is the Asus Lamborghini VX3.As the name says ,the ASUS Lamborghini VX3 is a luxury notebook, offering plenty of style and top-notch performance, thanks to its 2.5-GHz processor, 4GB RAM, and discrete graphics. We recommend it to executives who like to show off on the go—not just because of the size, but because they’re the only ones who can afford the $3,299 price tag and possibly the only ones who’d want such a bold-looking machine.

The $3,299 Asus Lamborghini VX3 is a lap-based homage to the famous sports car of the same name, complete with a screamingly bright automotive yellow paint job. We've seen car-themed laptops before, from Acer's Ferrari to a Toughbook-like Hummer laptop, and their audience is usually limited to auto enthusiasts who don't mind paying a premium for what is essentially window dressing on a set of fairly standard laptop components

Lamborghini notebook's designing took more than just slapping the company’s crest on the lid. According to ASUS, the two companies worked closely to iron out the VX3’s refined details. The lid, available in black or a striking yellow, is coated with the same paint as real Lamborghinis. Applying four layers takes 48 hours. The result is a vibrant, nearly scratch-proof surface. A narrow black speaker stretches across the top of the lid; beneath are icons for power, battery-charging, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Bluetooth connectivity, with corresponding white lights. It weighs 4.4 pounds with the nine-cell battery, the same as the 12-inch Acer Ferrari 1100, but at 1.2 inches thick, it’s slightly slimmer.

The back of the lid has a glossy yellow finish with a prominent Lamborghini badge, and the leather wrist rest has a nice-looking stitched border, making for an overall smart, sophisticated look that's fairly light and portable. The Lamborghini VX3 is similar in shape and size to the Asus U6S, another leather-accented ultraportable from the same company. On the frame, above the keyboard, is a Mode button, from which users can choose High Performance, Entertainment, Quiet Office, and Battery Saving power modes. We love the quiet, full-size keyboard and think ASUS made good use of the 12-inch-wide deck: The keyboard extends almost to the edges.

The 12.1-inch wide-screen LCD display offers a 1,280x800 native resolution, which is standard for most 12- to 15-inch displays. The screen's high-gloss finish can cause some glare if it catches the light of a desk lamp or overhead light at the wrong angle. The VX3 has four USB ports, as well as ports for HDMI, Ethernet, modem, headphone, and mic. You’ll also find an ExpressCard slot, a 5-in-1 memory card reader, a fingerprint reader between the mouse buttons, and an 8X DVD±RW DL drive.

System configurations:
ASUS Lamborghini VX3
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition; 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9300; 3072MB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz; 256MB Nvidia Geforce 9300M G; 320GB Western Digital 5,400rpm

Acer Ferrari 1100-5457
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition (64-bit); 2.3GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-66; 4,096MB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz; 256MB ATI Radeon X1270; 250GB Western Digital 5,400rpm

Lenovo Thinkpad X300
Windows XP Professional SP2; 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo L7100; 2048MB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz; 384MB Mobile Intel 965GM Express; 64GB Samsung Solid State Drive

Apple MacBook Air - 1.6GHz / 13.3 inch
OS X 10.5.1 Leopard; Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6GHz; 2048MB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz; 144MB Intel GMA X3100; 80GB Samsung 4,200rpm

The VX3 ships with a three- and nine-cell battery. The nine-cell adds an extra inch to the back of the notebook—not to mention almost a pound of weight—making it awkward to carry. For all that heft, it lasted 3 hours and 27 minutes on our DVD rundown test, which means you can expect at least 5 hours of typical use. That’s right on target for a thin-and-light, but given its nine-cell battery (and all the bulk it adds), we’d expect more. The U2E’s eked out 7:33 of endurance on a productivity test, but that notebook has a slower ultra-low voltage CPU. The VX3’s 802.11n wireless driver delivered strong throughput of 18.8 Mbps at 15 feet but dropped to 11.5 Mbps at 50 feet.

Firefox added Privacy Mode,Browser War Heats Up

Keeping in step with rival Web browsers from Microsoft and Google, Mozilla has announced a "privacy mode" for Firefox 3.1. The update is scheduled to be released in beta form in October. In privacy mode, a browser doesn't record a history of visited sites or save cookies from those sites.

On the Mozilla Wiki, developer Mike Connor listed three goals for the privacy mode."There should be a clear line drawn between your 'public' and 'private' browsing sessions," he wrote, so users can't be tracked when they are doing things they consider private. Information on visits can still be explicitly saved, he continued, such as per-site permissions, bookmarks, and so on.

In addition to not recording visited sites and removing all downloads from a given session, privacy mode will also mean there is no prompt to save passwords, and password fields cannot be autofilled. "Autocomplete" can be available, but entered data will not be kept. When a user enters or leaves privacy mode, any current authenticated sessions will be logged out.

Currently, Firefox offers an extension called Stealthier with private browsing features. The addition of privacy mode is a response, at least in part, to the recent launch of a beta version of Google's Chrome browser, which features a privacy mode called Incognito. In the Web-published log of Mozilla bug tracking, one Firefox developer noted that "recent developments with Chrome will likely make finally getting private-browsing mode shipped a priority for 3.1."

When a user opens Incognito in Chrome, however, Google points out that its privacy mode is not intended to deal with such privacy issues as identity theft or tricking users. This includes, Google noted drily, "Web sites that collect or share information about you," malicious software that tracks your keystrokes, "surveillance by secret agents" or "people standing behind you."
In addition, the number-one browser in market share, Internet Explorer, features private browsing -- called InPrivate -- in IE8 Beta 2. The Safari browser from Apple also has private browsing.

Some observers are suggesting that this latest round of one-upmanship suggests that the browser wars are back. Harold James, writing in Business Day online, wrote Friday that "Google is threatening to reopen the browser wars of the 1990s, when Microsoft's Internet Explorer eliminated its rival, Netscape's Navigator."

Al Hilwa, program director at industry research firm IDC, said, "We're definitely back in the browser wars."But, he pointed out, "a lot has changed" since the first major war 10 years ago. This generation of browser competition, he said, is taking place in an environment where a browser is a common interface for many applications, a role once served exclusively by operating systems.

Hilwa also noted that there is also "more isolation between processes, more security and privacy," and browsers now have a prominent role in the center ring of computing -- mobile devices.

Now I2 Telecom offers cheap call rates via mobiles.

An upstart Internet telephone company has introduced a method for U.S. mobile telephone users to call land line phones around the world for as little as two-cents a minute on top of basic rates.

I2 Telecom International Inc of Roswell, Georgia, said that its calling service, myglobaltalk.com, lets smartphones such as the latest models of Research in Motion Ltd's Blackberry e-mail phone place direct calls overseas.

The i2 service also works with other smartphones with data transmission plans, including the Samsung Electronics Co Ltd Blackjack, Palm Inc Treo and the Motorola Inc Moto Q. The company said it is seeking approval from Apple Inc to offer the service via iPhones.

The service, which requires users to be able to download i2 software to their phones, costs as little as two to three cents a minute to reach fixed lines on top of normal U.S. domestic charges. Calls to countries with higher tariffs can cost much more and calls to mobile phones in other countries are also more expensive, the company said.

Rival Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) mobile phone companies require a call to the company's access switch and then place a second phone call, company executives said.
"It looks like a very interesting product which has an opportunity to be financially successful for the company," said Colby Synesael, an analyst with Merriman Curhan Ford & Co.

"What remains in question is what the company's distribution strategy will be and how big the potential market is for this product."

I2 Telecom boasts it has few competitors for its service, which requires only a single call. That can mean one-touch dialing for numbers stored in the phone's address book. Synesael, who does not cover the company, but has followed it informally for several years, said the only company with a head-to-head competing product is 8x8 Inc, which sells its service under the Packet8 label.

I2 Telecom Chief Executive Paul Arena said his company is focused on selling the service to recent immigrants seeking to dial around more expensive phone plans offered by traditional carriers. Immigrants often pay high rates using phone cards or to dial home from specialized overseas calling shops.

He said his approach is cheaper and simpler because rates are lower and there are no connection charges. "We just put a simple application on the phone that is seamless to the user," he said of his Web-based alternative. For now, the per minute prices are even less expensive than those for MobileTalk by Packet8, but Packet8 already has permission from Apple to offer its own service via the iPhone.

Blogging Tips:-Maintain a Balance of Articles on a Blog.

Maintaining balance between articles on the blog is a hard thing to do.All proffesional bloggers maintain balance between their articles on the blog. While writing articles there is a must of maintaining balance between different topics that you focus on.Maintaining Balance between articles increases readability of your blog and also the blog readers.Readers range from person to person, be sure to know what most of your readers like on your blog and make at least 5 majorities and write content based on the things they have liked on your blog like Blogging, Earn Money Online. This can help you keep all types of readers sticked to your blog. You can check what type of content your visitors like in a very easy way.

You must be tracking your blog’s stats through Google Analytics,Histats or something similar to that. So what you do is pay close attention to the pages that have gotten the most hits and the most comments,in other words the most famous articles. That will help you know what type of content your readers like on your blog. Since there will be variation in what they like, you keep writing on different categories in a cycle or at least once in a while.

People think that writing an article everyday is a must, whereas I beleive it just varies from blog to blog. There is no need of writing posts all the day.You hav to write two or three posts weekly, but all the posts should be written in simple language and should be done by yourself. If your blog is a personel one then wrting posts all day should be good.In that case it just doesn’t matter you can say what ever you want. But if your blog is particularly a Make Money Online blog or related to Search Engine Optimization or Internet Marketing, there is no must of writing everyday.

Also you have to include links of prevoious articles written in your blog which is related to the current article. But there is something you can do to make it just as good. If you keep blogging about Make money online, a time will come when you will run out of content, so a better approach would be to choose at least 5 categories related to your blog and write in turns for each of them, or maybe even favoring one off the other depending on the conditions.
Be sure to write at least twice a week, so that your readers don’t get the image that the blog is too much out-dated.Updation of the blog at regular intervals give you some good impressions by the readers and the search engines.

The quality and quantity of your articles should be based upon this:
“The lesser you write, make sure the quality of the article is just as much to cover up any gap.”
The more delay you put in make sure the quality of the next article be just as good. Your articles should leave the readers asking for more, that is all that matters to help maintain a proper balance in articles.

BMW got the Prestigious ÖkoGlobe 2008 Award.

Last month,The BMW Group has received the prestigious ÖkoGlobe 2008 award for its development work on a thermoelectric generator. The award was presented by the DEVK insurance group, the Automobil-Club Verkehr and the Center Automotive Research, Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences.

It marks the second consecutive year in which the BMW Group has won this coveted distinction.
Dr. Klaus Draeger, BMW’s Director of Development, accepted the ÖkoGlobe 2008 on behalf of the BMW Group, in the category “Development of the Combustion Engine”.
It was awarded in recognition of research on implementing the Thermoelectric Generator in the car. This enables the utilisation of energy from waste heat from the combustion engine and is an example of how the BMW Group is exploiting new potentials for energy generation.

Prof. Ferdinand Dudenhöffer, Director Center Automotive Research, said at the award presentation: “The BMW Group’s Efficient Dynamics measures for raising the efficiency of series production vehicles point the way ahead for the automotive industry. The Thermoelectric Generator shows how this efficiency enhancement can be further developed in the future. Thanks to EfficientDynamics, the BMW Group has succeeded in maintaining driving pleasure while at the same time contributing to the lowering of emissions.” In his response, Dr. Klaus Draeger said: “We feel extremely honoured by what is now our third ÖkoGlobe, which we have been awarded this time for our Thermoelectric Generator. It strengthens our resolve to continue developing BMW EfficientDynamics for the benefit of our customers and of the environment.”

Up to September 2008, the BMW Group had already delivered more than 1million vehicles with BMW EfficientDynamics technology to customers. 28 BMW Group models already have CO2 emissions of 140g CO2/km or lower. Until the end of this year 150 million litres of fuel will be saved in comparison to 2006 and the environment will be disburdened of 370,000 tons CO2.

Yamaha R1 Stills,reviews,specifications.

The 2008 Yamaha R1 is a sweet, fast, reliable machine. It is very safe in corners, love the torque and accerlation, and really love how smooth this motorcycle feels overall.

Internally, the engine has several high-tech bits. Aluminum pistons are forged for strength, squeezing the intake mixture at a high 12.7:1 ratio. Connecting rods are fracture-split for added durability, while titanium intake valves are light in weight. A coupling-type balancer rotates opposite to the crankshaft to quell vibration. A ramp-type slipper clutch eases high-rpm downshifts.

The R1’s chassis is also slathered with the New Brush. The frame consists of a cast-aluminum forward section mated to Controlled-Fill die-cast outside rails and extruded inside rails. Like the’08 R6, the subframe is made from magnesium for reduced weight from the outer edges of the bike. The aluminum swingarm is also new. Rake, trail and wheelbase are unchanged from 24.0 degrees, 4.0 inches, and 55.7 inches, respectively.

The Dodge Tomahawk World's Fastest Bike Review,Specifications,Stills

The Tomahawk concept is an awesome-sounding machine; we saw it started and revved. Clouds of blue smoke vied for attention with the throaty rumble of the mighty V-10, and hitting the gas visibly opened the twin throttle body blades up front where the headlight would normally be. Though deeper and more rumbling than most motorcycles, it did not seem to be louder overall - just deeper, with no shrill overtones.
The Tomahawk is a Viper V-10 based motorcycle, a 500 horsepower engine with four wheels beneath it. The engine breathes through twin throttle bodies mounted right up front.
At the time of its introduction, many did not believe the Tomahawk could be ridden and leaned into a turn. The Italian company Piaggio has since demonstrated with their very well received MP3 scooter, that, given adequate development time, the same basic principal could in fact be successfully implemented. The Tomahawk however was conceived and built to serve only as a communication tool, having as its mission to promote the Dodge brand, while showcasing the Viper motor as well as the creativity of the people behind that brand. The entire project, from conception to finished show vehicle was limited to only five months. The show vehicle therefore did not benefit from the sort of extensive dynamic development phase typical of production vehicles.
SPECIFICATIONS
# 500 bhp (373 kW) @ 5600 rpm (45 kW/L); 525 ft·lbf (712 Nm) @ 4200 rpm

# Oil System: Dry Sump; takes 8 quarts (8 L) Mobil 1 10W30 Synthetic
# Cooling System: Twin aluminum radiators mounted atop engine intake manifolds, force-fed from front-mounted, belt-driven turbine fan. Takes 11 quarts (10 L) of antifreeze.
# Exhaust System: Equal-length tubular stainless steel headers with dual collectors and central rear
# According to the official specs 0-60 mph times have been estimated at 2.5 seconds, with an estimated top speed of 350 mph. But there are also reports that the top speed is 676 km/h (about 420 mph).

Blogging Tips: Submitting your URL to Search Engines

All people want their Blog/Website to be included in search results from search engines. However, many are not aware about the fact that their Blog’s URL has to be submitted to the directories of search engines in order to be included in search results. Search Engines update information from websites by web crawlers, and if your website is in their directory then they will also update information from your blog, which could help your blog hold a position in search results.

Steps to Add your URL to Search Engines
  • Open the search engine where you want your website to be added.
  • Type “Add URL” in the search box and hit search. It would probably be the first five links that would contain information on adding your URL to the Search Engine.
  • Click the most appropriate link and it will straight away take you to the form. Enter information such as Web address, keywords, category etc..
  • Do not forget to enter key words (If asked) because it can help you to get a better position in search results.
  • Also choose category (If asked) because that too can help your blog to be more specified and targeted to users.

Being listed in search engines is very important as it can drive a lot of targetted traffic to your website. this is infact the first step in search engine optimization.Note that the more you add your url to different sites, the more better your position in a search result.

Add your URL here.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Reviews,Stills,Specifications,price

The 5800 XpressMusic ,Nokias new model among the touch screens space and we have gotten some quality face time with the device. Appropriately nicknamed the Tube, the device has a number of Nokia peculiarities that could appeal to certain sensibilities, but probably won't be taking a big bite out of existing touchphone market share at least in the S60-phobic United States. The review of the phone s below.

The 5800 introduces a lot of new features with the upgraded version of the Symbian S60 operating system ,many of which will find their way into other Nokia handsets. We will look at some of these in more depth at a later date.

Nokia claims the decision was made to appeal to the world market, particularly asian countries that prefer handwriting recognition to keyboards. Hence the stylus input option. It doesn't ruin everything for those of us that would rather tap with our thumbs, but means pushing that much harder on the screen, and using the tips of your fingers when you type instead of the flat -- knocking off a good 5 wpm or so in the process we'll talk more about software keyboards in the next section. There's also a plectrum (guitar pick) included that can hang from a wrist strap if you don't want to smudge the screen and don't feel like sliding out the stylus.

The LCD itself is certainly impressive, at 640 x 360, but colors and brightness aren't complete knockouts. Purists will enjoy the dull screen surface, which certainly cuts down on glare, but casual users often prefer glossy screens for watching movies, something this aspect ratio is very well suited to.There's a very, very loud speaker in the back. It's not the clearest thing in the world, but if you want to share a song or something with a friend, they'll certainly hear it. There's also a 3.5mm jack up top, right where it should be.

The 3.2 megapixel camera focuses well and takes great pictures in daylight -- indoors is likely a different story, as with most cameraphones, but there's a rather powerful dual LED flash to help out with that. All of this -- in addition to things like GPS, WiFi and a side-loading microSD slot (there's a free 8GB card included) -- are wrapped up into an elongated, chubby package, hence the Tube moniker. We'd hate to have something of its shape and thickness in a tight jeans front pocket on a regular basis, but we must admit that it's very comfortable to hold and use with a single hand, something that can't be said for all touchscreen phones.

Software
Software used in the phone is S60, so if you were hoping for something else you'll be sorely disappointed. Nokia's done "just enough" to turn the traditional interface into a touchable one with version 5.0, sizing up icons, adding finger-friendly buttons in lieu of traditional menu items and so forth. What Nokia hasn't quite figured out is consistency, requiring double taps in some places, single taps in others. Scrolling through most lists requires dragging a scroll bar, pulling down as the list flies up, but the browser has touch and drag scrolling. Nothing's too frustrating or unreasonable, but this is no seamless experience.

What's new is a touch-sensitive button above the screen that drops down the Media Bar for access to music, movies, photos, the browser and sharing. Not life changing, but quite convenient. There's also a new home screen with a "Fav Four" of sorts across the top and little else. Tap that friend, and you can get a quick look at recent calls, messages and even related RSS feeds. Pretty neat if you're a loner, but there's no way to add more than four friends, or view similar info for your regular contacts that don't make the cut. Luckily, the traditional S60 home screen is also available.

For text input you have four options: handwriting, mini QWERTY keyboard, full screen QWERTY and alphanumeric keypad. The first two are stylus-based (that mini QWERTY is truly mini), while the other two are only available in landscape and portrait modes, respectively. Like we said in the hardware end of things, the resistive touch means using the tips of your fingers instead of the pads, which we find a tad frustrating, but the keyboard in landscape mode is truly gargantuan, and after an hour or two of learning we're guessing you could rattle off some pretty lengthly emails or Great American Novels. Luckily, if you're a T9 fan there's nothing stopping you from keeping the phone in portrait mode and rattling off text messages with the touchable alphanumeric keypad, and the phone is frankly too narrow to work well with QWERTY in portrait. The handwriting recognition looks good enough, but we revert to a 2nd grade writing level whenever we pick up a pen, so that stylus is staying firmly in its holster.

We're not convinced the touchable browser is a step up over existing WebKit implementations on Nokia's other handsets, since the tap to zoom function is slow and unreliable -- and no, you can't select text from web pages to copy and paste. Panning around the page is also jittery, perhaps a tad worse than the G1,nobody has managed to pull off iPhone smooth yet in this department. We were using a slightly early software build, so some of these problems might be fixed in the final version, but it wasn't encouraging. Still, there's no denying the advantages of viewing the web on a 640 x 360 LCD.

We tested out an accelerometer-based driving game, but it was overly sensitive and no-fun-at-all -- though we're guessing that wouldn't be a hard fix. The graphics looked pretty good, though. Movies are potentially this phone's killer app, but you'll have to do the conversion just right to get smooth playback at full resolution. We did see some video shot with the phone (that Sea World shot in the gallery) and it looked pretty good.

Conclusion
If you haven't picked it up by now, Nokia isn't going after the power users here. The phone will be marketed under Nokia's "Live" banner, and really concentrates on the most basic communications -- calling and texting -- with a whole bunch of multimedia piled on top. Nokia's Comes With Music helps on that end of things, and the screen certainly helps with video, but this is no iPhone when it comes to to solid media integration or full-featured media player apps. On the communication side, we're sad to see Nokia almost burying some of its S60 advantages. Everything's still there, but Nokia didn't put the gruntwork in necessary to really take advantage a next-gen interface as it relates to keeping track of emails, social networking, IM and the correspondences of more than four people. All that said, Nokia isn't claiming that the 5800 is the be all end all, is releasing it with a very aggressive price point (€279 unlocked), and promises more where this came from.

The phone ships this fall in Europe, and will show up next year in the States without a carrier, though hopefully it picks up one soon a $50 subsidised price tag could turn this thing into a hit if the US carriers don't sit on it too long.

Nokia 5800 Specifications
  • 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 16 Million colors
