Acer come with its plan to launch a new Sequel Netbook that comes preinstalled with Microsoft Windows and Google Android Operating System. The new netbook will get the name Acer Aspire One D260. The netbook comes built on the latest Pine Trail Platform.
Acer Aspire One D260 will be the successor of the earlier Aspire One D250 netbook which also features the dual boot feature. The Aspire One D260 netbook is designed so that the customers can enjoy full functions on the Windows platform while can acess email, internet apps much faster on the Android Platform.
No other information about the Acer D260 netbook are available. The release date will be announced soon. Also Acer company is planning to introduce the new Chrome OS netbooks by 2010 Q3.

If only it were a swivel touch screen. Accer does make good netbooks though. Android just isn't droid with out the touch.
