I can see an argument for using this in slate mode when reading, but no real advantage when interfacing. This is by no means a new concept, and some manufacturers are admitting that customers are moving away from their equivalents. Most users only get about 5% usage out of the tablet/slate technology. Some people will always prefer them, some just because its a new product, but most people tend to look at value for money when deciding what they need to buy.
