Samsung Electronics on last day announced about their new digital cameras. Now you thinks that whats new about this announcement? The main feature of the new Digital Cameras is that these cameras comes with dual LCD displays- one each at the front and back. These cameras helps to take self pictures very easily.
Samsung first going to introduce two cameras with dual LCD displays - ST550 and ST500. Both the two digital cameras comes with a 12.3 megapixel sensor and equipped with a 27mm wide angle Schneider Kreuznach lens that supports upto 4.6x optical zoom. Both the cameras has a 1.5 inch TFT LCD on the frontside and 3.5 inch wide touch screen LCD on the backside of Samsung ST550 while the Samsung ST500 comes with a 3 inch wide LCD. The rear Touchscreen LCDs of the Samsung ST550 and ST500 digital cameras is equipped with Smart Gesture User Interface technology which enables users to tap and browse through features.
The Samsung Digital cameras - ST500 and ST550 supports HD video recording in H.264 format upto 1280x720p resolution at 30 frames per second. The Samsung ST550 also features HDMI connectivity via an optional adapter which enables the user to see the video in a HDTV.
The Samsung Dual LCD Digital Cameras ST550 and ST500 will be available in the US first from September 2009 and later in other countries. The Cameras ST550 and ST500 are expected to be available at a price of $349.99 (Rs. 16,867) and $299.99 (Rs. 14,457) respectively.
