Sony Ericsson recently introduced its ever powerful and new Xperia smartphone - Ray. This all new Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is an Android powered smartphone whose main highlight is its look.  It comes encased in a slim aluminium frame with a merely 9.4mm thickness. Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Smartphone sports a high resolution 3.3-inch touchscreen display and runs on the latest Google Android OS v2.3 (GingerBread) OS.

Coming to the specifications part, the new Sony Xperia Ray is powered with a 1GHz processor along with 512MB memory and 32GB internal storage. It comes equipped with 8.1 MP camera with Exmor R image sensor which offers autofocus, face detection and 720p HD video recording. Other features include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, front facing camera for video calling, GPS with AGPS support, Bluetooth, DLNA support, microSD card slot, USB Tethering, WiFi hotspot etc. It comes with support to Quad band GSM , 3G HSDPA networks.


This smartphone carries a 1500mAh battery.  It measures about 111 x 53 x 9.4 mm in dimensions and weighs just 100 g. Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Smartphone will be available in blcak, white, gold and pink colors . The price will be around 28,000 INR.
