Sony US launches its new portable notebook series - Sony VAIO Z series which will be the world's lightest 13-inch notebooks with the standard voltage CPU. Sony designs the new Sony VAIO Z Series with a 2.5-pound aluminium and carbon fiber chases and measures only just 0.66-inch. This new Sony VAIO Z Series resembles the style and luxury of the premium notebooks. As the specifications part is reviewed, the new Sony VAIO Z Series ultra portable notebook comes powered by a 2nd gen Sandy Bridge standard voltage Intel Core i5 and i7 processors with Intel Turbo Boost with clock speeds of up to 3.40 GHz, up to 8GB of RAM and dual-channel SSDs with RAID. Another imporant thing to note about the Sony VAIO Z Series notebook is its buil-in Power Media Dock system which transforms into the ultimate workstation and can even support up to four full HD displays when paired with the supplied dock.
