Sony Introduces S1 and S2 Android 3.0 tablets - Specifications and Review

Sony introduces its two new latest Android based tablet devices - Sony S1 and Sony S2. Both the Sony S1 and Sony S2 Tablets comes runs on the Google Android 3.0 honeycomb operating system. As per the Sony, the S1 tablet is intended for the entertainment purpose and S2 tablet is designed for mobile communication. Both these Sony S1 and S2 tablet devices will be available from 2011 Q4.



Sony S1 Android Tablet Features & Specs

Coming to the specification details of Sony S1, it sports a 9.4-inch touch-screen display with 1280 X 800 pixels of resolutio. Sony S1 tablet comes powered with Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor. It has also got a front and rear camera along with ebook reader, WiFi and WAN (3G/4G). Sony offers application access via Qriocity music and movie services and the PlayStation Suite.



Sony S2 Android Tablet Features and Specs

On the other hand Sony S2 tablet device features a two 5.5-inch touch-screen displays.  It is a clamshell device which is designed in a cylindrical that opens and closes with the two displays. The two screens can be used together as one large screen to browse websites or separately and using the other as a soft keyboard. Other features include WiFi, e-book reader and WAN (3G/4G).
