Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman Android Smartphone Specifications and Review

Sony Ericsson  introduces its new walkman edition smartphone model named Sony Ericsson W8 which sports a 3-inch  capacitive HVGA touchscreen display supporting a resolution of 320x480 pixels. Sony Ericsson W8 walkman smartphone runs on the Google Android 2.1 Eclair platform with Sony Ericsson's custom Timescape U.

Coming to the  Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman specifications, it is powereed with a 600MHz processor and 128MB onboard memory. It features a 3.2 megapixel camera with Geo-tagging capability, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, front camera for videocalling etc. The Sony Ericssom W8 will have Walkman Music Player ported to Android, TrackID music recognition, and PlayNow technologies. This new walkman smartphone offers 23 hours and 40 minutes worth of music listening time.

Sony Ericsson will offer this new W8 Android Walkman smartphone in three colors - Azure Blue, Metallic Red, and Iconic Orange. As of now there is no word about the pricing and this phone will be available in Asia-Pacific markets  from Q2 2011.
