HTC introduced its latest Android based smartphone at the recent MWC 2011 and the new smartphone is named as HTC Desire S. Earlier this new HTC Desire S smartphone is announced as HTC Desire 2. The main attraction of the new HTC Desire S smartphone is its Android 2.4 OS with HTC Sense UI.

Coming to the specifications of HTC Desire S smartphone, it comes powered with a 1GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm MSM8255 processor along with a a 768MB RAM and 1.1GB internal memory. This HTC Android Smartphone sports a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen Super TFT display supporting a 480 x 800 pixel resolutions. Other features of the HTC Desire S smartphone include 5MP camera (with autofocus, auto image stabilization, LED Flash and 720p HD video recording), 1.3 MP front face camera, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS, accelerometer, digital compass, light sensor and proximity sensor.
HTC Desire S Android 2.4 Smartphone comes equipped with a 1450 mAh battery and comes with support to GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100 MHz mobile networks. HTC Desire S smartphone measures about 115 x 59.8 x 11.6 mm and weighs 130 grams.
