HP launches its four new LCD display models from 20-inch to 27-inch. including The new HP LCD models 20-inch HP 2010i, 21.5-inch HP 2210m, 23-inch HP 2310m and 27-inch HP 2710m. All these HP 21.5-inch HP 2210m, 23-inch HP 2310m and 27-inch HP 2710m LCD display models features 1920X1080 Full HD resolutions and 1000:1 contrast ratio while the 2010i features 1600×900 Full HD resolutions.

While coming to the Specifications part, HP 2010i LCD display features 250cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time while the 2210m offers 300nits brightness and 2.5ms response time. Both these LCD models comes equipped with DVI-D and VGA inputs. On the other hand HP 2310m has 300 nits brightness and 3ms response time. It offers DVI-D, HDMI and VGA inputs and comes with 2Wx2 stereo speakers. The 27-inch HP 2710m has 400 nits brightness and 2.5ms response time.

Dell updates its UltraSharp LCD Monitor lineup with its two new LCD displays - UltraSharp U2211H and UltraSharp U2311H. Both the UltraSharp U2211H and UltraSharp U2311H LCD monitors is designed on the innovaative In-plane switching (IPS) technology.

Dell UltraSharp U2211H is a 21.5-inch LCD monitor while the UltraSharp U2311H features a bigger 23-inch LCD display. Both the Dell UltraSharp LCD monitors features Full HD Resolution with 1920×1080 pixels, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angle and 8ms response time. The first model has 250cd/m2 and later one features 300cd/m2 brightness.

LG updates its Smartphone models with the new LG ALLY Smartphone. The newly announced LG Ally is a QWERTY smartphone and will runs the Android 2.1 OS. The new ALLY smartphone comes pre-loaded with Iron Man 2 Commercial themes and videos.

It comes powered by LG Ally Android Smartphone packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a side-side QWERTY keyboard a 1GHz processor and support for GPS, 3G and WiFi. No word yet on pricing but it will be launched on 20 May.

Here is the latest Ultra slim Eee PC netbook computer - Asus Eee PC 1218. Asus Eee PC 1218 netbook is the winner of reddot design award 2010. According to DigiTimes, the Eee PC 1218 will be equipped with Intel Atom processor and NVIDIA Ion graphics (probably Ion 2).

Intel Atom Z6xx Low-Power Mobile Processor

Intel announced its new Atom platform, codenamed Moorestown, that uses lower power and is ready for use on smartphone and tablet devices. The new platform includes the Atom Z6xx processor (codenamed Lincroft) based on 45nm process and the new MP20 (codenamed Langwell) platform controller hub.

The Atom Z6xx SoC offers up to 1.5GHz for handhelds/smartphones and 1.9GHz for tablets and comes with integrated Intel GMA 600 graphics. The new Atom platform supports Android, Moblin 2.1/MeeGo 1.0 mobile software platforms.
