Samsung unveiled its latest tablet device Galaxy Tab which is based on the Google Android 2.2 Froyo Mobile Platform last month. Recent news is that Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Tab Android tablet in india. Samsung Galaxy Tab is designed to be light weight and easily portable.
While coming to the Specifications, Samsung Galaxy Tab sports a 7-inch WSVGA touchscreen display (3-inch smaller compared to Apple iPad's dispaly) with multi-touch support. Samsung's Android Tablet Galaxy Tab is powered with a 1GHz Hummingbird processor along with 512MB RAM and PowerVR SGx540 graphics. The samsung galaxy tab has got a 3.2MP camera, 1.3MP front camera for video calling, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. It also comes equipped with a 4,000mAh battery which gives 7hours video playback.
The Samsung Galaxy Android Tablet is expected to available in india at a price of around Rs. 38,000.
