Other than U36 corei3/i5 notebook, Asus launches its latest U series Asus U31 in the European market. As per the reports the new Asus laptop model named U31 will hit Europe early next month and will be available at a starting price of €799. ASUS U31 laptop sports a 13.3-inch 1366 x 768 pixels LED-backlit display.
Asus will offer the new 13.3-inch U31 ultra-thin laptop in two models - Asus U31F and Asus U31JG. Both these notebook models got a thin stylish design with brushed aluminum chassis and is equipped with nVidia GeForce GT 415M discrete graphics card that support nVidia Optimus technology. The U31 Notbook models are powered with either Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor and memory up to 8GB of RAM, a 320/500/640GB hard drive.
Other features of the Asus U31 laptop includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 0.3-megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 3-in-1 card reader, Altec Lansing speakers, a 6- or 8-cell battery, and optional Bluetooth 2.1. The notebook weighs around 1.78 kg.
