Asus introduces its latest ultra thin portable notebook PC model named Asus U36. This latest ASUS U36 notebook comes based on the Intel Calpella platform and sports a 13.3-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It comes designed with an aluminum magnesium alloy shell and has got a dual-heatpipe cooler.
The all new Asus U36 notebook measures just 19mm thick and weighs 1.44kg making it portable. ASUS U36 notebook comes powered with either of Intel Core-i3 or Core-i5 processor along with the nVidia Optimus technology that automatically switch between integrated graphics and dedicated graphics card. It also comes equipped with 3GB RAM, 500GB HDD and 1GB nVidia G310M graphics.
ASUS U36 Portable notebook equips a 4-cell battery which offers up to 10 hours in operation and capable to use Super Hybrid Engine mode, for extended battery life. No details on the pricing and availability of the Asus U36 notebook are known yet.
