Recently, a new Android 2.2 mobile phone was launched and it was Huawei Ideos U8150. Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world has made it happen since this new Ideos U8150 is their first Android-based smartphone.
This new Huawei Ideos U8150 supports a 528MHz processor, packs 512MB ROM/256MB RAM, and has a 3.2MP autofocus camera without flash, a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a limited resolution of 320 x 240. Due to Android 2.2, the smartphone is supportive to more than 70,000 applications that are connected with entertainment, communication as well as business management.
Some other notable features of this Huawei Ideos U8150 are that users will be able to access the Internet using HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), which is quickly becoming a more common network feature on high-end smartphones. The download speed of the handset is 7.2Mb/s and it is available with 3G+ Wi-Fi dual network. Moreover, the handset can be used as a Wi-Fi router.
This new smartphone not only runs fast, but also supports functions such as voice dialing, voice navigation, and the ability to run applications off the SD card, supported up to 16GB memory. It also supports Bleutooth, GSM and GPS. Available in black, yellow, blue, and purple, the Ideos U8150, with Android 2.2 is priced between US$100 and US$200, depending on the market.
