Ford is going to launch all new version of their SUV Endeavour in India. The new Endeavour is a transformed version of the old one with all features upgraded and increased aggressiveness in look. More changes appeared in the exterior of the car. The 2012 Ford Endeavour comes with a 2953cc diesel engine. Ford concentrated mainly on improving the performance of the vehicle and they maintained the price in the range of 20 lakh rupees. Endeavour will be available in India for a price ranging from 20 lakh to Rs 21 lakh rupees from mid 2012 onwards.
The new Endeavour is powered by a 2953 cc engine which can deliver a maximum power of 154 Bhp at 3200 rpm and maximum torque of 380 Nm at 2500 rpm. The notable fault made by Ford in the new Endeavour is that even the top variant has got no Xenon Headlamps,Headlamp Washer and Traction Control. It would be better if Ford cares to introduce these things also. Any way, the new 2012 Endeavour is all set to boost Ford’s already superior line-up of products in India by raising the benchmark in the SUV segment. The new Endeavour will be facing its previous competitors like Toyota Fortuner and Honda C-RV in future also.
New Endeavour comes with most of the safety features and luxuries which are limited to its price range but Ford has kept their "value for money" policy in this machine also. Will the this new SUV be doing good on Indian roads ! ! ? . lets wait and see........
