A new smartbook from the branded company Efika, named as Efika MX Smartbook has been launched and this new Smartbook from Efika is about 10.87 x 7.13 x 0.83-inches and weighs 2.05 pounds.
The Efika MX Smartbook features a 10.1-inch TFT LED backlit LCD that offers the resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Also this new Smartbook runs on a Freescale i.MX515 ARM Cortex-A8 CPU (similar to Tegra 2 powerhouse) at 800MHz. It may not have the fastest ARM chip,but it is enough powerful for handle 720p HD video playback and also this device runs fully on an OpenSource.
Efika MX Smartbook is enabled with a 3D graphics processing unit and even D1 video encoder along with multi-format HD video decoder. Storage is to 16GB of flash and the machine has an external SD card slot and an internal microSD card slot. Other features include 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, dual USB ports, a 1.3MP webcam, and a headphone jack. The machine also has integrated stereo speakers and a built-in microphone.
Price for this new Efika MX Smartrbook is about $349.
