Samsung launched their latest Epic 4G Android smartphones

At last, the latest Android phone from Samsung, Epic 4G is now out on the stores. This latest Android phone within the Sprint Network is an updated version of the currently existing Samsung Evo 4G, that comes under the Samsung Galaxy S lineup. The main feature of this Galaxy S series is that it is loaded with features like Super AMOLED touchscreen display.


AMOLED means Active-Matrix Light Emitting Diode, and these displays are considered as the next generation phone screens. The new Sprint branded Epic 4G has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and also it has a 4-inch super AMOLED screen having a multi-touch support. The hardware and the 1GHz Hummingbird processor are all the same that were in the Galaxy S.

The other main feature is that it supports 3G as well as 4G and also the Bluetooth 2.1. Samsung has also 1GB ROM and 512MB RAM along with support of up to 32GB microSD memory card that can be used to run Android 2.1 smoothly on the handset. It has a 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash that is capable of 3x Digital Zoom and 720p video recording and a front-facing VGA camera for video calls.

This new Samsung Epic 4G will be available for a price of around $249..
