TVS Apache RTR 250 Bike with ABS Breaking

Recent talks going on in the Automobile world is all about the upcoming Apache RTR 250. Yes TVS is once again back with their ever success model Apache. This time its getting bigger and better with Apache RTR 250. Apache RTR 250 is the successor of RTR 180 which is a great success in the Indian roads.


TVS APACHE RTR 250 comes powered with 250cc Single Cylinder, 4 Stroke engine which delivers a maximum output of 30bhp power @ 9500 rpm and 22Nm torque @ 8000 rpm. As per the initial review, Apache RTR from TVS will be a perfect competor to the Bajaj Pulsar 220, Hero Honda Karizma and Yamaha R15. Other APACHE RTR 250 features inlcude six speed transmission, ABS braking, 6 spoke alloy wheels etc.


As per the reports, the bike have a better fuel economy and a better top speed of around 150-160 kmph. TVS Apache RTR 250 gets a 16 litre tank and is expected to be available in 4 colors - White, Gray, Yellow & Black. The front suspension will consist of telescopic forks whereas the rear suspension will be of monoshock, rectangular swingarm type.

All new TVS Apache RTR 250 is yet to be announced officially and is expected to hit the Indian roads by 2010 Q2 with a starting price of Rs.1,10,000.

Tvs has not yet released Apache 220 yet then what about Apache 250. I would appreciate if they release both the bikes asap n within 2010. But I've seen a lot of delays made by the comp in terms of releases e.g RTR Fi 160 which was releases 8m after the declared release on BIKE Magazine.
Eagerly waiting for the release.
