Nokia today announced its latest Smartphone updating the Nseries lineup - the new Nokia N8. Nokia N8 is the first smartphone to run the Symbian^3 mobile OS. Nokia N8 Smartphone comes powered with he ARM11 680 MHz processor and is equipped with 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM and a 3D Graphics HW Accelerator with OpenGL-ES 2.0 support.

The Nokia N8 Symbian^3 Smartphone packs a 3.5-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen display supporting a resolution of 360×640 pixels. Other Nokia N8 Smartphone Specifications include a 12 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi connectivity, GPS and A-GPS. With the 12 megaPixel camera, the smartphone offers HD video recording of resolution 1280×720p at 25fps. Nokia N8 Smartphone comes with support to WCDMA/HSPA 3.5G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks.

Nokia N8 SMartphone comes pre-loaded with the Ovi Maps 3.0 and features a micro USB 2.0 connector, HDMI video output and a 3.5mm jack. Nokia's N8 Symbian^3 phone gets a 16GB internal memory and comes with support to microSD/SDHC cards. The phone supports playback of H.264, MPEG-4, VC-1, H.263, Real Video 10 videos and supports Flash Lite 4.0.

Nokia N8 Symbian^ 3 Smartphone is expected to be available by 2010 Q3 and the price of Nokia N8 Smartphone will be around Euro 370.

This is pretty reasonable price for me. But the OS still symbian. Btw for a girl this looking is okay as well.
