Lenovo launched its new mobile Workstations - Lenovo ThinkPad W701 and W701ds which was announced earlier this year. The recent update is that both the Thinkpad W701 and W701ds notebooks were added to the Lenovo's online Shop. The lenovo W701 and W701ds can now be ordered and the website shows that the notebook will be shipped between 1-2 weeks.
Both the Lenovo Thinkpad W701 and Thinkpad W701ds notebooks features a 17-inch LED backlit display. While coming to the notebook Specifications, W701 and W701ds comes powered with latest Intel Core i7 Processor and comes equipped with memory up to 16GB of RAM, storage up to two HDDs with 1TB of total storage and an Nvidia Quadro FX 2800 or 3800 series graphics card.
Lenovo ThinkPad W701 and W701ds are also available wih an optional two 128GB SSD storage. Other features of Lenovo ThinkPad W701 and W701ds includes built-in webcamera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, a DVD drive and multi card reader. Lenovo company designed the thinkpad W701 and Lenovo ThinkPad W701ds mobile workstations specially for the business professionals with extreme performance with Core-i7 processor and the nVidia graphics.
Bothe the Lenovo Thinkpad W701 and W701ds notebooks comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional 64bit. Another highlight is that the thinkpad W701ds notebook is designed to support dual display and has an optionl 10.6-inch display too.
Lenovo offers the ThinkPad W701 notebook at a price of $3,299, while the Lenovo ThinkPad W701ds mobile workstation is priced at $3,999.
