Maruti Suzuki introduces its new medium segment car hatchback model - Cervo. The company launches this new 2010 Cervo to replace maruti 800, the ever popular car of India. Maruti Servo comes powered with the 658 CC 3 cylinder 4 valves petrol engine which delivers a maximum power of 54 bhp @ 6500 rpm and a maximum torque 64 Nm @ 3500 rpm.
2010 Maruti Cervo gets a 5 Speed manual gear transmission and a power steering. Maruti Cervo offers a fuel efficiency of 16 kmpl in city and 18 kmpl on highway and a top speed of 120 KMPH. Maruti Suzuki designed this 5 seater Cervo to compete with the Tata nano. According to the sources the Cervo will be priced between Rs. 1.5 lakhs - Rs. 2 lakhs.
