Asus introduces its latest notebooks - Asus N61JV-X2 and Asus N71JV-X1. The main highlights of the Asus notebook includes nVidia Optimus Switchable Technology and the USB 3.0. With the nVidia Optimus Switchable Graphics, the notebook offers to switch the graphics between the GeForce graphics and integrated Intel graphics.
Asus N61JV-X2 notebook comes with a 16-inch HD LED LCD display with 1366×768 pixels of resolution while the Asus N71JV-X1 notebook features a 17.3-inch display with 1600×900 resolution. Both the Asus N61JV-X2 and N71JV-X1 notebooks have brings a NVIDIA GeForce GT325M GPU with 1GB of VRAM and integrated Intel HD graphics.
The Asus N61JV-X2 notebook is powered by the latest 2.26GHz Intel Core i5-430M CPU and the Asus N71JV-X1 notebook packs a 2.26GHz Intel Core i3-350M processor. Other features of the notebook includes a 500GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, DVD SuperMulti writer, inbuilt 2MP webcam, a 8-in-1 card reader, and Altec Lansing speakers with SRS. The notebooks are also equipped with HDMI, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, eSATA port, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.
Asus brings the N71JV-X1 notebook at a price of $899.99, while N61JV-X2 laptop is priced at $899. The N71JV-X1 notebook is available for purchasing through Newegg while the later one is available at Amazon.com
