After the success of HTC magic and HTC Hero in indian markets, the company launches its latest Touch2 smartphone in india. HTC Touch2 looks similar to the earlier Touch 3G model. The new HTC Touch2 smartphone will be launched with Reliance GSM network and the Reliance Communications offers a free data usage upto six months at 200MB per month. HTC Touch2 mobile comes with a 2.8-inch TFT-LCD touchscreen display with QVGA resolution.
HTC Touch2 smartphone is powered by 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 CPU with 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM and is equipped with HTC TouchFLO interface. Other specifications of Touch2 smartphone includes 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi (802.11b/g) , microSD expansion slot and internal GPS antenna. The touch2 mobile features a 1100 mAh battery which provide a talk time of merely four hours.
The HTC Touch2 mobile phone comes preloaded with Windows Mobile 6.5 which is the main highlight of the new Touch2 model from HTC. HTC Touch2 also provides Microsoft Exchange support and Microsoft's My Phone backup service support.
HTC Touch2 smartphone will be available through india via HTC resellers and is available with Reliance GSM network at a price of Rs. 24,490 in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh while Touch2 would be available for Rs. 22,490 in other places.

Even in landscape mode, the keyboard is cramped and momentarily freezes during fast typing.The sound quality from the music player was very disappointing.
