The latest hot news in the autmobile segment in india is that Audi india announced the latest Q7 for the indian markets. With the arrival of this new SUV from Audi, the fight between the Fortuner, Landcruiser, Mercedes M class, Ford Suvs become tougher.
The Audi Q7 3.0 TDI has been blessed with seven more horses. The main attraction is its improved fuel economy going from 22.4 to an even 24.0 US MPG. It delivers more power and provides more fun. The Q7 has three rows of seats with spots for seven people. Other main features of Audi Q7 includes Adaptive lights that moves dynamically in the direction of travel
SUV bumpers, Quattro four wheel drive Provides you with the option of automatic gear shifting Coupe-like roof line and ESP function that enhances its drive on rough areas like mountains
The German can manufacturer has come up with Audi Q7 with three engine variants. Audi Q7 features voice control, that enables the driver to use his cell as well as play the music with voice command.
The Managing Director of Audi India, Benoit Tiers informed that Audi India achieved remarkable growth in the first eight months of 2009 by selling 1,128 cars (62 percent growth) and with the launch of new Audi Q7, they are hoping to sell upwards of 1,500 cars. He also added that If he can get good production (of cars) from Germany, then they should be able to sell about 1,700-1,800 cars this year. Sources indicate that Audi India is planing to expand to Jaipur, Lucknow, Nagpur and Coimbatore soon.
The new Audi Q7 will be available in 11 fantastic colors, the three engine variants would cost Rs 29.9 lakhs, Rs 53.4 lakh, and Rs 55.2 lakh.
