Intel recently introduced the latest Solid state Drive(SSD) X25-M. The Intel X25-M is designed on the more advanced 34nm manufacturing process. Intel says that the prices of the X25-M SSD can be lowered by 60% With the latest 34nm manufacturing technology. The 34nm processing technology also offers improved latency and faster random read/write operations.
The new X25-M SSD from the Intel is designed with the MLC flash memory and will be available in 80GB and 160GB models. The Intel X25-m SSD offers write speed up to 6,600 4KB and read speed up to 35,000 read per second.
The new 34nm X25-M 80GB SSD will be available at a reduced price of $225 for quantities up to 1,000 units and the 160GB model of Intel X25-m SSD will be available at a price of $440 for quantities up to 1,000 units.
