Sony recently announced three new Walkman music players S, E and B series.The all three series are expected to be available by the end of this September.
Sony’s new S series walkman music player
Sony’s new S series is the first music player to have Sony’s SensMe function which will automatically creates channels that can align with a user’s preferences. Sony’s new S series is basically a top-end media player that will play both music and video.It supports all most all the formats including the Windows Media Video (WMV) files with DRM. Its features include integrated active noise cancellation, a 2-inch QVGA LCD screen, and 7.5mm thickness.The available models are the 4GB NWZ-S736 which costs $150 and the 8GB NWZ-S738F costs $180.
Sony E series walkman music player
The Sony E series is also supports almost all formats that will be supported by the series music players. It also support WMV with DRM.There are two models in this series-the $100 NWZ-E436F which is having 4GB capacity and the $140 NWZ-E438F having 8GB.
Supporting formats of only Walkman series S, E walkman music players
MP3, WMA, AAC, PCM music, AVC,MPEG-4 videos,JPEG images.
Sony B series walkman music player
The B series is an low-level music player which supports WMA and MP3 only.This also available in two models The NWZ-B133F having 1GB memory which costs $45 and the 2GB NWZ-B135 pricing $60.
