Recently a new entry level Lumix DMC-LS85 digital camera is introduced by the Panasonic.The new digital camera is powered by AA batteries.The Lumix DMC-LS85 is equipped by 8.1 megapixel F2.8 Lumix DC VARIO lens and have a 4x optical zoom.It also comes with the Venus Engine IV processor.
Due to the low energy consumption of the camera’s Venus Engine IV processor, battery life has also been extended to shoot more than 270 photos (CIPA) with two AA batteries. Slideshows can be accompanied by music, courtesy of the newly added speaker, so users can view or show their photos with greater impact.
Features of Panasonic LS85 includes Intelligent Auto Mode (iA), Intelligent ISO Control,Intelligent Scene Selector,Mega O.I.S and Face Detection. The Lumix DMC-LS85 can capture 848×480 video at 30fps or 640×480 clips,just like the FS15 and FS7.It has a 2.5-inch LCD display.Lumix DMC-LS85 have a 50MB internal memory and supports SD/SDHC memory cards.The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS85 will be available in silver, black and pink in April 2009 for $119.95.
