The all new 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000 comes with powerful compact smooth running engine which is capable of delivering a maximum power of 185bhp. GSX-R1000 is a clean sheet design built to maximize combustion efficiency with more torque and power across the rpm range and enhanced throttle response and reduced exhaust emissions.

In this 2009 model Suzuki includes Drive Mode Selector push-button selection of three performance settings to suit riding conditions and personal tastes. Now the switch is relocated on the left handlebar control module.
