Nokia, the biggest mobile manufacturers today introduced its new smartphones - Lumia 800 and Lumix 710 which comes based on the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango platform. While Android is ruling the smartphone industry, Nokia is trying something different with the release of new Windows smartphones. Coming to the design part, the Nokia Lumia 800 looks similar to the Nokia N9 which is launched earlier this year. It has a “head-turning design” and comes in cyan, magenta and black colors. On the other hand, Nokia Lumia 710 smartphone comes available in black and white with black, white, cyan, fuchsia and yellow back covers. The Lumia 800 comes with a 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 2.5D curved glass seamlessly integrated to unibody while the later get a normal 3.7-inch LCD touchscreen display.
Both the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 are powered by a single-core MSM8255 1.4GHz processor with 512MB RAM. Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone gets a 8 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss and LED flash , while the Lumia 710 sports has a 5 Megapixel camera. Both comes with 720p HD video recording support at 30fps. Other common features include GPS support, Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity on both phones. The Lumia 800 has 16GB internal storage and the 710 has only 8GB.
Coming to the pricing and availability, the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 will be priced at about Euro 420 and Euro 270. It will be available in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan before the end of the year.
