Sony introduced its new VAIO Z series core i5 or core i7 based notebook for sale. Sony VAIO Z notebooks are perfectly suitable for the business professionals. The notebook comes with a 13.1-inch LED backlight display supporting a resolution of 1600×900 pixels.
Sony VAIO Z notebook comes powered with either Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors. Other Sony VAIO Z notebook specifications include memory upto 8GB of DDR3, storage upto 1TB HDD and is also equipped with nVidia GeForce GT 330M dedicated GPU. With the nVidia Optimus technology, Sony VAIO Z notebook can switch between the dedicated nVidia Graphics and the integrated INTEL HD graphics accelerator.
Other Sony VAIO Z features include a DVD writer or Blu-Ray combo drive, built-in Web camera, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth, built-in fingerprint reader, Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD memory card readers, microphone, Gigabit LAN, HDMI and VGA outputs, and an ExpressCard slot. The notebook comes available with the optional Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband module. Sony VAIO Z series notebook comes equipped with a 6 cell battery that offers upto 6.5 hours of back up life.
Sony Co offers the new VAIO Z series notebook at a price of $1900. The notebook will be available now at the Sony Online Store which will be the Bestbuy option.
