Here is the latest Active Matrix E-Ink Watch which was announced recently by the Seiko company. There were reports that a Watch Maker is doing a project “Future Now” under the Seiko Company which was actually the developing of watch based on Electronic Ink (e-ink) technology.
Seiko’s new e-ink watch offers a 80,000 pixel Active Matrix EPD display with 300dpi resolution and four-shade grey scale. The new technology is also power-saving, that the watch requires just 1/100th of the power needed to run a same sized display using the current e-Book technology.
No other details about the Seiko Active Matrix E-Ink Watch are available now.
