AMD announced its new professional series Graphics card - AMD ATI FirePro V8800 earlier this month. The new AMD ATI FirePro V8800 GPU is the most powerful professional graphic card ever created in the industry and the only one to support the ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology and Microsoft DirectX 11 technology.
When coming to the technical specification details of the Graphic Card, ATI FirePro V8800 comes equipped with 2GB GDDR5 memory with 147.2GB/s bandwidth and a a GPS with 1600 stream processors and 825MHz core clock speed. With the innovative Eyefinity multi-display technology from ATI, the new FirePro V8800 offers drive support upto four independent 30-inch displays.
Other features of the AMD ATI FirePro V8800 Graphics card includes OpenGL 3.2, Shade Model 5.0, OpenCL 1.0, DirectX 11.0 support and the ATI CrossFire Pro.
