Acer announced their new Aspire Gaming Notebook- Aspire 8942. This Aspire 8942 notebook will be acer's first gaming notebook based on the DirectX 11 ATI Radeon HD graphics. The Acer Aspire 8942 notebook is designed for the hard core gamers and the model no: is Acer Aspire 8942G-728G1280TWN.
Acer Aspire 8942 gaming notebook is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor, 8GB of RAM DDR3, two 640GB hard drives and features Mobility Radeon HD 5850 GPU with 1GB GDDR5 memory. The 8942 Notebook comes with 18.4-inch Full HD LED backlit display supporting a resoluion of 1980X1080 pixels. Other features of Aspire gaming notebook includes Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/, Bluetooth, Blu-ray drive, 4 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port, ExpressCard slot and 5-in-1 card reader.
Acer latest Aspire 8942 gaming Notebook PC comes equipped with 8 cell battery offering a better backup time and notebook weighs just about 4.6kg. Sources indicate that the notebook will be launched by early 2010.
