Verizon launches Samsung SCH-i920 Omnia II - Smartphone features Specifications and Prices

After the great success of Omnia, Samsung comes with yet another powerful smartphone in that Omnia series, Samsung SCH-i920 - Omnia II. The new Omnia II smartphone will be launched by Samsung in coperation with Verizon wireless. Sources indicate that the new Samsung Omnia II will be available from 2009 December 2nd.

Samsung Omnia II comes with a 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen display and samsung's innovative TouchWiz 2.0 user interface. The major specifications of Omnia II smartphone includes a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, 8GB internal memory, Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity and GPS receiver. The phone is also equipped with a microUSB port and memory card slaot that supports upto 32GB memory card.

Samsung SCH-i920 Omnia II smartphone is running the new Windows Mobile 6.5 and is also comes preloaded with Opera 9.5 enhanced browser and Social networking applications for YouTube, Facebook and MySpace. The smartphone also supports Verizon’s services such as VCAST Music, VZ Navigator, V CAST Video On Demnd which offers the user to listen music online.

The new Samsung SCH-i920 Omnia II smartphone will comes available with a 2 year contract for a price of $199.99 from the Verizon wireless through Verizon’s official website and the Verizon Wireless Communications Stores.

most of the reviers forget to mention if the screen resolution of WINMO devices was 480/360 like Iphone they will be atleast equaly responsive and infact much faster than Iphone.
