Ford introduced its latest Mustang 2015 as part of its 50 years anniversary last day. It is actually the sixth generation Mustang which will be available in market from next year Q1 itself. The all new 2015 Ford Mustang looks really new and will be available in variants - a 3.7-liter V6, a 5.0-liter V8 and a turbo charged four cylinder model.
Coming to the performance, the 2015 Ford Mustang powered with 3.7-liter V6 engine delivers a maximum power of 300 bhp and 270nm Max torque, while the 5.0-liter V8 that will produce more than the 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque that’s in the current GT model. The major highlight is that Ford has combined Mustang performance with the EcoBoost technology which delivers efficiency with real power to the 2015 Ford Mustang power train lineup.
“Every car company has a vehicle that strikes to the heart and soul of the company, and for us that is the Mustang,” said Mark Fields, Ford’s chief operating officer. Ford has worked to increase the size of the cabin to allow for more shoulder and hip room for passengers, and a trunk that will be able to store two golf bags. The car will be built at Ford’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant near Detroit.
