Dell made it presence at the CES 2012 with its all new XPS series ultrabook PC - Dell XPS 13 which has got an ultra portable design which is meant for business purposes. Dell XPS 13 notebook comes powered with Intel’s Core i5 2467M or Core i7 2637M processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics. Coming to the storage option, it has either 128GB or 256GB SSD for storage to boost the performance. Other specifications of the Dell XPS 13 notebook includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 1.3 Megapixel webcam with dual array digital microphone and HD audio with Waves MaxxAudio 4. It features a precision machined aluminum lid and a carbon fiber composite base.
The XPS 13 notebook comes with Dell’s new Ultrabook has a 13.3-inch 1366×768 display with hardened Gorilla Glass. There are USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports with PowerShare, a mini DisplayPort and headset jack. It weighs just 1.36kg. The Dell XPS 13 has a full size, backlit chiclet keyboard and glass integrated button touchpad. Its built-in 47WHr 6-cell battery offers up to eight hours, fifty-three minutes of battery life.
