Samsung has introduced two new notebooks, Samsung NP350U2B-A01US Series 3 and Samsung NP900X1B-A02US Series 9, that features second generation Intel Core i-series processors. The major notable thing related with these two Samsung netbooks are that they don't have a discrete graphics cards in them.
This new Samsung NP350U2B-A01US Series 3 notebook comes up with a Intel Core i5-2410M processor with a maximum speed @ 2.3 GHz. It also features a 12.1" LED display with a maximum resolution of 1 366 × 768. It provides a memory of 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM and storage capacity of around 500 GB SATA HDD @ 5 400 rpm. It provides a Intel GMA HD Graphics card and some more features like 2 × USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Micro HDMI, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0. It also comes with a 6-cell Li-Ion battery. Dimensions of this new notebook will be 11.77" × 7.7" × 0.98" and will also weigh around 3.09 lbs.
This new Samsung NP900X1B-A02US Series 9 notebook comes up with a Intel Core i3-2357M processor with a maximum speed @ 1.3 GHz. It also features a 11.6" LED display with a maximum resolution of 1 366 × 768. It provides a memory of 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM and storage capacity of around 64 GB mSATA SSD. It provides a Intel HD Graphics 3000 card and some more features like 1 × USB 3.0, 2 × USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Micro HDMI, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0. It also comes with a 4-cell Li-Ion battery. Dimensions of this new notebook will be 11.7" × 7.8" × 0.65" and will also weigh around 2.34 lbs.
This new Samsung NP350U2B-A01US Series 3 notebook which is bigger, heavier but less expansive than the new Samsung NP900X1B-A02US Series 9 notebook is priced at about $750, whereas the other Samsung notebook, Series 9 is priced at about $1000.
