Asus Introduced Intel Sandy Bridge U46 Notebooks - Asus U46E and Asus U46SV

Asus introduced its new U46 series notebooks which will comes in two models - Asus U46E and Asus U46SV. Both the U series notebook from the Asus brings a brand new look along with boosting the specs also. Both these notebook comes based on the 2nd generation Intel Core family processors and contain an ultra-thin design which evaluate only an inch thick. Below are the specification details of the Asus U46E and Asus U46SV Notebooks

Both the Asus U46E and Asus U46SV notebook have same specs except the graphics support. Coming to the details, Asus U46E and Asus U46SV comes powered with Intel 2nd generation i3/i5 Core (Sandy Bridge) processor along with the Intel Mobile HM65 chipset, memory upto 8GB DDR3 and storage upto 750GB HDD. The notebook comes preinstalled with a genuine Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and sports a 14-inch HD display. Asus U46E comes with an Intel GMA HD graphics while the Asus U46SV notebook gets a dedicated 1GB nVidia GeForce GT 540M card along with the built-in Intel GMA HD graphics.

Other standard features of the Asus U46E and Asus U46SV notebooks include ASUS SonicFocus Audio, 0.3 megapixel camera, 802.11 b/g/ WiFi, bluetooth, 4-in-1 multi-card reader, HDMI, one USB3.0 port, 5200mAh 8-cell battery etc. It also comes with BIOS booting user password Protection, HDD user password protection and security, LoJack and a Kensington lock. The Asus U46 notebook measures about 33.3cm x 24.5cm x 2.46cm-2.70cm in dimensions and weighs just 2.08Kg.
