Kingston HyperX SandForce-powered solid state drive

Kingston Technology, one of the world's largest Memory Manufacturer's recently introduced its new and latest SSD - Kingston HyperX solid state drive which comes powered with SandForce chip. Kingston made this new solid state drive especially for enthusiasts, gamers, and performance users which measures just around 69.85 x 100 x 9.5 mm..


Kingston Hyper SSD is the company's first SATA Rev 3.0 (6Gb/s) based SSD, which comes with the SF-2281 controller in a 2.5-inch form factor with 25nm MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips and TRIM support. The Kingston HyperX SSD is optional HyperX 2.5-inch desktop mounting plate.

Kingston offers the new HyperX solid state drive in 120GB and 240GB storages. The 120GB model is capable to random 4k read/write performance 95,000 / 70,000 IOPS, while the 240GB version has 95,000/ 60,000 IOPS.  Kingston Kingston HyperX SSD's will be shipping on July 11, 2011.
