Dell introduced its new XPS edition laptops that sports the new generation core i-series sandy bridge CPU - Dell XPS 15z. Other major highlights of this new Core i-series XPS laptops include the 15.6-inch WLED display, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit OS and bluetooth 3.0 connection.
Coming to the technical specifications of the new Dell XPS 15z, it is powered with the new 2.3 GHz Core-i5 2410M Processor, 6GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M graphics with Optimus technology and a 500GB of storage. The Dell XPS 15z has 15.6 -inch HD (1366x768) WLED display with TrueLife. Other standard features of the Dell XPS 15z laptop includes a 8x DVD drive with doule layer write capability, centrino wireless-N1030, two USB ports, a FireWire port and an HDMI output and slots for card reader.
As of now the new Dell XPS 15z core-i5 laptop will be available with a price tag of $1000.
