Asus introduced Eee PC X101 Netbook - Features and Prices

Asus launched a new ultra-mobile device, Netbook Eee PC X101 with a dimension of 262 x 180 x 17.6 mm and weighing around 900 grams. This new Netbook, Asus Eee PC X101 is available in two versions, first one is a bit expensive, thicker and available with Windows where as the second one is comparatively inexpensive, thinner and available with a free MeeGo OS.

This new Asus Eee PC X101 Netbook with a free MeeGo OS is cheaper mainly due to the use of inexpensive components. It only features a display size of 10.1 inches, with a maximum resolution of about 1024 x 600 pixels. Also, this new Asus Netbook provides a 0.3MP camera, 2GB Ram, 8 GB of internal SSD memory, only two USB 2.0 ports, one 3.5 mm audio jack, wireless adaptor Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth.

Both the two versions of new Asus Eee PC X101 Netbook is powered by Intel Atom N435, clocked at 1.33 GHz. New Asus Eee PC X101 Netbook with Windows will be more thicker, the reason is that instead of SSD in this modification there will be HDD of 250 or 320 GB. This new Asus Netbook will also feature a three-cell battery.

This new Netbook, Asus Eee PC X101 will be on sale this summer onwards and available in white, red and gold colors, this Asus Netbook will have a price tag of about $200(with MeeGo OS).
