Samsung Galaxy Series smartphones are very familiar to most of you reading this. Here is yet another powerful Galaxy series smartphone introduced -  Samsung Galaxy S II which comes with a strong 1.2GHz overclocked dual core CPU and 4.2-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. This new Samsung smartphone runs on the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

Coming to the specifications,  the new Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone comes powered with a 1.2GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos processor along with a 1GB of RAM and 2GB of ROM. The Samsung Galaxy S II Android smartphone features 8MP rear camera which offers HD video recording, a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0+HS, GPS, FM recorder etc.  The smartphone comes in two storage models - 16GB and 32GB. Both these models supports up to a 32GB microSDHC memory card.

Samsung Galaxy S II (2) Android Smartphone comes with support to quadband GSM and quadband HSPA (850/900/1900/2100) Networks.  Samsung offers the new Galaxy S II smartphone (SIM-free and unlocked) at a pricre of around £500 ($826) for the 16GB version.
