Corsair Force Series SATA 3 SSDs Features, Specifications and Price Details
Corsair, one of the leading manufactures of memory products has recently introduced its new SSD (solid state drives) in the Force series which will be its third generation SSD. This all new Corsair Force Series SATA 3 SSDs comes with the Sandforce SF-2281 controller along with MLC NAND flash chips and SATA 6.0Gbps interface.
As per the info, Corsair Force Series SATA 3 SSDs comes with backward compatible to SATA 2 and comprises a 3.5” adapter. While coming to the performance part, this Corsair SSD offers a read speed up to 550MB/s and a write speed of 520MB/s. It also features 85000K IOPS which makes a quiet faster system response, boot times and application load times.
Corsair will offer the new Force Series 3 drives in three storage models - 60GB, 120GB and 240GB. The new Corsair Force Series SATA 3 SSDs will be available in markets worldwide by the end of this month at a price of $139 for 60GB, $219 for 120GB, and $499 for 240GB.
