HTC announced its latest Android Smartphone model - HTC Salsa. The all new HTC Salsa Android Phone has got a similar design as that of Blackberry devices and sports a touchscreen display with QWERTY keypad. This Android Smartphone supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G networks and HSDPA 900 / 2100 3G networks.

Coming to the specifications of the HTC Salsa smartphone, it comes powered with a 600 MHz processor along with a 512 MB ROM and 512 MB RAM. It sports a 3.4-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 320X480 pixels resolution. The HTC Salsa Smartphone runs on the Android 2.4 Gingerbread OS and also features the HTC Sense UI. Other standard features of the HTC Salsa Mobile Phone includes 5 megapixel color camera with auto focus and flash, VGA front camera for video calling, Bluetooth 3.0 with FTP/OPP for file transfer, WiFi IEEE 802.11b/g/n, 3G support, microSD memory card (SD 2.0 compatible) and 3.5 mm stereo audio jack.

HTC Salsa Android 2.4 Smartphone comes equipped with 1520 mAh Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery which offers talktime backup up to 474 minutes on WCDMA and up to 540 minutes on GSM.The HTC Mobile phone measures just 8.6 mm thick, 120g weight and size is just 109.1 x 58.9 x 12.3 mm.
